There is also evidence that further energy efficiency savings can be achieved (as high as a 50% reduction in total energy use) by making more extensive capital improvements such as upgrading machines to the latest, state of the art models, as well as implementing more sustainable dyeing practices such as low water dyeing and and high affinity dyes.
